The Twin 1.0 Sconce features a two-tone diffuser of handblown Czech glass made up of two flattened spherical shapes in two colors which are melded together while hot on the glass blowing pipe. The glass is held to a solid brass plate canopy by a brass band that sits between the two spheres. Each sphere is lit from within by its bulb, one in each sphere. The Twin 1.0 sconce is designed to meet ADA requirements in the USA for commercial use in public spaces by always measuring less than 4” total depth from a wall surface. For wall mount only – for ceiling applications see the Twin 2.0 Sconce/Ceiling Light. It is strongly recommended that the Twin 1.0 Sconce only be installed in the vertical orientation as shown.
