Pedrosa Tables

Price available upon request
A minimalist reinterpretation of the balustrade – a Rococo element so present in Brazilian daily life – gave rise to the collection of entirely ceramic tables designed by Bruno de Carvalho. The complex and extensive production, materialized by ceramist Alice Felzenszwalb in her Rio de Janeiro studio, required that the three elements that compose it – a completely flat surface top, a base, and a joint – be molded and fired separately, reaching a temperature of 1170º, to the point of acquiring the rigidity of stone (Stoneware ceramic). With two heights (so they can be stacked) and three different shades (Egypt, Morocco, and Siberia ceramic), the pieces play with the textures of the natural material, sometimes presented as glazed, sometimes matte, and can be used in both indoor and outdoor areas.
