Konstantin Grcic is a German industrial designer known for his rigorous and functional approach to design, combining formal simplicity, technical precision, and a strong focus on the real use of objects. Originally trained as a cabinetmaker and later in Design at the Royal College of Art in London, he founded his studio in 1991 and has since developed furniture, product, and lighting projects for some of the leading international brands.
His work is characterized by geometric forms, unexpected solutions, and a clear industrial aesthetic, where function directly guides form. Throughout his career, Grcic has collaborated with Flos on various lighting designs that explore new approaches to light and technology, while always maintaining an essential and contemporary visual language.
