The relaxed elegance of the Rio de Janeiro lifestyle is translated into this chair. We achieved structural lightness in this product using aluminum covered in foam-backed fabric and casters. Comfort is provided by the shape and composition of soft foams applied in different densities – all calendered – to ensure the necessary resilience of the material. To finish, we embraced the foams with a layer of down, which increases comfort, feel, and drape of the fabric. The finishing touch is provided by the removable linen cover, offering a visual lightness that reinforces the Rio de Janeiro spirit. A highlight is the detail in brass cast in a sand mold, handcrafted by designer Bruno de Carvalho.
The furniture family that pays homage to the laid-back spirit of Rio de Janeiro is growing. The outdoor version of this chair is part of the "The Beauty of Detour" collection, offering durable fabric options without sacrificing the visual lightness that reinforces the Carioca (Rio de Janeiro) soul.
