A streamlined ash frame with a charcoal stain outlines this modern sofa with a sartorial style. Part of the Everyday Life collection, it expresses Paul Smith’s approach to interior design. Each piece, be it a sofa, armchair or pouf, is distinguished by contrast stitching verging on embroidery, which reflects the project’s sartorial heritage. Another distinguishing feature are the leather straps with both a decorative and structural function and defined by minute, coloured details, besides the practical leather pocket organisers that are attached to the armrests to have everything at the ready. A modern sofa, the upholstery colours of which express a restrained palette including deep shades of midnight blue and peacock, neutrals such as ecru, earthy nuances like brick, and surprisingly vibrant accents in lime green – the collection’s iconic colour. The same stitching can also be found in furnishings such as leather benches and trays.
