Eight years after its original launch, the Square Armchair returns in 2026, reaffirming its timeless character, uniting tradition and innovation in balanced proportions and valuing the relationship between structure, materiality and ergonomics.
Conceived from a desire to revisit modernism, the piece appropriates straw in an unusual way and explores finishes distinct from the conventional. The overlapping and misaligned forms confer the contemporary feel that has always guided its creation.
In this edition, it features a new cushioned backrest that envelops the wooden structure and adds a layer of comfort and elegance. Thus, the Square Armchair reaffirms itself as an icon of designer Bruno de Carvalho, capable of transcending time while maintaining relevance and identity.
