The sofa joins the Envelope family, which includes the award-winning armchair by designer Ilse Lang. The collection draws inspiration from the simple and uncomplicated wrapping of an envelope, which holds the letter inside, like a hug.
Starting with wide, interwoven leather strips covering a soft and cozy inner layer, the armchair takes shape. Combining robustness and softness, the design evokes memories of the vernacular culture and tanneries of the designer's homeland, Rio Grande do Sul. From the investigation of simple forms to achieve maximum ergonomics, emerges timelessness, which lies both in the quality of the materials and in the sophistication of the production processes.
