The Corner Chair fully occupies a corner of a room. It is a seat, a place to sit, built entirely from layers of contrastingcoloured marble. Every chair is, in some way, a negative space of its sitter. The Corner Chair accommodates that negative space loosely, ergonomically, and comfortably with the contrasting slices of marble describing the topography of that space, making it legible. The figure is there, but in the negative.
